BIG NEWS UPDATE after allmost 8 months:
It was a long time since last update. I've been very busy with various projects, but on the other hand I admitt I was a little bit lasy for make a new upload.
The "DRAGON WORLD"project is finished in March, and right now I wait my copies of the book. The book was released this month by Harry Abrams in USA. You can order it from publisher or amazon.
"HOW TO BE AN EXPLORER" is also published (Templar, UK)., and right now I'm working on next title called "HOW TO BE A VIKING ". This one will be closewr to the first book in the serie (about knights).
2 more cards for "WORLD OF WARCRAFT"are published ("Silent fang", and "Viking warhammer")
In August I've attended to Gen-con in Indianapolis, USA. Great gaming convention. It's a big convention - smaller than Comic-con in San Diego (that I visted last summer) but much more fantasy related publishers and booths. I've met a lot of artists - Wayne Reynolds, Steve Prescott, Steve Ellis, Steven Belledin, Jim Pavelec to name a few. They are great illustrators and they can give you comments to your work and maybe more important - they gave me a lot of advices and hints how to approve my presentation and how to better speak to art directors. Soon I'll add photos to the photo gallery.
The trip to USA was also succesfull on business plan: I've show my portfolio to many publishers. Some of them are intersted in cooperation. With Troll Lord Games I've started cooperation (3 covers for their "Crusader" magazine), Fantasy Flight Games (right now I'm negotiate for making illustrations for G.R.R.Martin "A game of thrones" colectible card game), and there's big chance to finally break into the Wizards of the coast!
In Croatia: for Algoritam I've done 3 covers for Darren Shan series of vampire's books (01. "Cirque de freak", 02." The vampire's assistant" and 03." Tunnels of blood"). Schedule for this year is 6 books and next year 6 more. At this very moment 4th cover is on the working table half finished.
Few weeks ago A big map for R. Scott Bakker fantasy trilogy "The Prince of Nothing" has been published by Algoritam. After a long period of doing small illustrations this was one oportunity to make a big painting (100x120 cm). Really pleasant change, It would be nice to often have such comissions...
"Grifon" 7. (Issue Dragons) and double issue of the magazine 8. and 9. (Knights and Sea monsters) are published by Red Srebrnog Zmaja (Order of the Silver Dragon), my medieval association. I'll put last 2 covers on the site.

I'm curently in a big rush with illustrating a book called "DRAGON WORLD". This will be my first pop-up book. It will be published in USA by Abrams (and I think it will be also published in UK by Electric Paper).
I allways wanted to illustrate a book about dragons so here's the chance... .
I supposed book should be presented at Bologna bookfair in april 2007. |

Illustrations for the book "HOW TO BE AN EXPLORER" are finished. Publisher is Templar Publishing, UK.
It's the second book from the "How to be..." series. It should be published in a few months.

second card made for "WORLD OF WARCRAFT" trading card game is published. It's called "BRIGG" . It suppose to be published as a "Hedgecutter" card (the axe), but it was released as a "BRIGG" card (name of the orc warrior). |

The book "HOW TO BE A KNIGHT" is published in UK by Templar Publishing.
This is my first bigger project in UK.
Text is written by Dugald Steer, and illustration are made by 2 illustrators (Neil Chapman and me) and illuminator Alastair Graham. Designer is Andy Mansfield.
